The dashboard, screen by screen
Handbook
Reference for every screen, search, and a question when you are stuck.
Every screen says in one sentence what it is for. The handbook is the reference behind it: for each screen what every button does and what happens when you change something, plus what your guest sees, how the integrations work and how money and invoices are handled.
From a screen
At the top right of every screen there is a small question mark. It opens the article for that screen. If a booking was open, it comes along to the article.
New on a screen
When something on a screen has changed, or is about to change, "New" with a green dot sits next to the question mark. Click it to read what is different, and for an advance notice on which day it changes. After that the dot is gone, on your other devices too. What changed before you joined the property gets no dot, and after thirty days it disappears by itself.
If an update means you sign in once more, a bar above every screen says so at least a day ahead, up to and including the day itself. All changes are on our site too; you can get them by email there.
Search and contents
At the top there is a search field. Search for a word you would use yourself, such as deposit, VAT or housekeeping; the best article comes first. Below it are the contents by part, and at the top the day the handbook was last updated.
Buttons in an article
A button with an arrow opens the screen the article is about, in your own property. If a module is switched off, that screen shows the notice to switch it on.
Ask your question
Below every article there is Ask your question. Your question reaches us with the screen, your property and the booking that was open, so you do not have to type them. Below the field you can see what is sent along. The answer appears here in the handbook, under Your questions.
We read every question as a screen that does not explain itself well enough yet. That is why we count, per screen, how often its article is opened and how many questions come in about it, in our own measurement and without anyone else's tracker. That tells us which screen should become clearer first.
