General terms and conditions
Version 1.2 · updated 29/09/2026
If this translation differs from the Dutch text, the Dutch text prevails. The Dutch version is the one you accept when you sign up.

1. What you get
Access to the reservation system: the booking module on your own website, room and rate management, the connection with the channels you are listed on, payments, guest communication and, where applicable, the statutory guest registration. Exactly what is included depends on your plan, and that is stated on your invoice.
You set up the system yourself, and you can keep changing it yourself afterwards: rooms, rates, conditions. If we agreed that we would do this for you, that is stated on your invoice.
We connect you to the booking channels. You cannot do that part yourself, because a channel requires a person on our side, and it is included in your plan.
2. What it costs
The price is stated on your invoice and is based on the number of rooms. If your property grows, your plan grows with it from the next period onwards. Prices are exclusive of VAT.
You start with a fourteen-day trial, without having to leave any payment details. We only need your direct debit mandate at the moment you take your booking module live: that is when the money starts, because that is when the value starts. If the trial ends without a mandate, your account remains in place and does not go live. You will not receive an invoice for something that has never been live.
After that, we invoice in advance, monthly or annually. Payment is made by direct debit unless we agreed otherwise, in which case a payment term of fourteen days applies.
Annual indexation
Once a year, on 1 January, we adjust your subscription fee by the consumer price index of Statistics Netherlands (CBS, all households) over the twelve months up to and including September, plus the surcharge stated in your agreement. We announce this in November, stating both the old and the new amount.
If the index is negative, your fee stays the same; we do not reduce it.
This indexation is not a price increase within the meaning of the next paragraph. You agreed to it when you entered into this contract, including the percentage of the surcharge, and it therefore gives no right to terminate. This distinction is stated explicitly here because it would otherwise be unclear, and anything unclear should be interpreted to our disadvantage.
An increase above indexation
If we wish to raise the price other than through indexation, we will give three months' notice. If you do not agree, you may terminate with effect from the date the increase takes effect.
3. Termination
Your subscription runs per month and renews automatically for another month until you terminate. You can terminate monthly, with one month's notice. For an annual contract, with effect from the end of the year, with one month's notice.
If you terminate, you will receive a complete export of your data in a readable format within thirty days: bookings, guests, rates, invoices. We do not charge for this. Your data belongs to you, and a system you cannot leave is a hostage situation, not a product.
4. What we promise
We do our best to keep the system available and announce maintenance in advance. We do not promise an availability percentage: that would be a figure we cannot live up to while we are small, and a promise that cannot be kept is worse than no promise at all. What is working at any given moment is shown on our status page, which is based on real measurements.
If something breaks, we repair it as quickly as can reasonably be expected. If a booking is lost through a fault of ours, we restore it, and where it can no longer be restored, the limitation in article 5 applies. Read that article first: it excludes loss of profit and missed bookings, which means that "compensating the damage" is something other than "compensating the revenue".
5. Liability
Our liability is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the three months before the event that caused the damage.
We are not liable for loss of profit, missed bookings, reputational damage or damage caused by something outside our control: a failure at a booking channel, a payment service or a government service, for example.
These limitations do not apply in the event of intent or deliberate recklessness on our part, nor where the law prohibits them.
Fines under the guest registration rules are for our account to the extent that they were demonstrably caused by our system failing to submit a report while the data was present, and we cannot demonstrate a failure at the authority. If the data was not filled in, that is not our responsibility.
6. Guests' money
Payments from your guests go directly to your account with the payment service. We do not hold guests' money and are not a party to that payment. At most, we deduct the agreed platform fee, which is stated on your invoice.
7. Your side
You make sure that your rates, availability and house rules are correct, that your guests get what you promise, and that the data you enter may be processed. What you put into the system remains yours, and remains your responsibility. You do not post photos, texts or other content that is unlawful or infringes the rights of others, such as photos you do not hold the rights to. How anyone can report such content to us, and what we do with it, is set out in Reporting illegal content and copyright.
8. Data
The data processing agreement applies to personal data. It forms part of these terms and conditions.
9. Changes
If we change these terms and conditions, we will give thirty days' notice. If you do not agree, you may terminate with effect from the date the change takes effect.
10. Governing law and courts
Dutch law applies. We submit disputes to the court in the district where we are established. But we would rather call first.
This text was drafted for this product and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. Three places should be read first by someone trained to do so:
- Article 5, the limitation of liability: this is where a court is strictest, and a limitation that goes too far fails in its entirety rather than in part.
- The indexation in article 2. Whether it is not a price increase, and therefore gives no right to terminate, depends on whether the clause was determinable when the contract was concluded. That is why the percentage is in the individual agreement and not here. Whether that is sufficient is a legal question, not a technical one.
- Article 5, last paragraph, on fines under the guest registration rules. Here we take on a risk that by law lies with the accommodation; that is allowed, but it should be done with open eyes.
