The dashboard, screen by screen
Add to your home screen
Putting the dashboard on your phone or computer as an app, and turning on notifications.
You can put the dashboard on the home screen of your phone or computer. It then opens as an app of its own, without an address bar. On an iPhone it is also the only way to get notifications, for example about an overbooking.
What you see
The screen adapts to the device you open it on.
- On an iPhone or iPad there are three steps with a drawing. Tap Share (the square with the arrow pointing up at the bottom of your screen), scroll down the menu to Add to Home Screen and choose that line. The dashboard then sits among your other apps.
- On Android and on a computer the browser can install it itself. Click "Install now". If the button is still greyed out, wait a moment or use your browser menu: Install or Add to home screen.
- If it is already on your home screen, the screen says you are set.
Turning on notifications
Below the installation you are asked whether you want notifications. Click "Yes, turn it on" and give your browser permission. After that it says notifications are on for this device.
What you may come across:
- Put it on your home screen first: on an iPhone the button only appears once the dashboard is there. That is Apple's rule.
- Your browser does not allow notifications: you refused them earlier. Change it back in your browser settings, under site permissions.
- This browser cannot receive notifications: try another browser.
- Notifications have not been set up (after you click the button): sending has not been switched on at Noren's end yet. There is nothing for you to do.
Notifications work per device. If you want them on your phone and on your computer, turn them on on both.
Which notifications you get
Which kinds of notifications you get, and the hours when it should be quiet, you set on Your profile. This screen links there: "Choose which notifications you get".
