Figures
Occupancy, revenue and where your bookings come from, per period, with a workbook for Excel.
On Figures you see what your property did over a period: occupancy, revenue and where the bookings came from.
Period and comparison
At the top, choose the "Period": "This month", "Last 30 days", "Last month", "This year" or "Next 30 days". Under "Comparison" you choose "Last year", "Previous period" or "No comparison". The difference is shown with an arrow next to the figure.
What it shows
- "Occupancy": the room nights sold divided by those available.
- "Revenue this period": rooms and extras together.
- "Next 30 days ahead": what has already been booked for the next thirty days, regardless of the period you choose.
- Four charts: occupancy per night, where the bookings come from, room revenue per night and revenue per room type. "As a table" shows the numbers behind a chart.
- "The figures underneath": the average daily rate (ADR), revenue per available room (RevPAR), rooms, extras, the tourist tax if you charge it, the average stay, the guests who arrived and the no-shows.
How things are counted
- Cancelled bookings count nowhere.
- A no-show stays out of occupancy and ADR, but is listed separately, with the room nights and the amount.
- If a rate includes breakfast or something else (see Rates), ADR, RevPAR and room revenue count only the room. What was included does count in the revenue for the period.
Tourist tax
If your property charges tourist tax, the current quarter is shown at the bottom: how many stays and person-nights, for stays that ended in this quarter. That quarter does not depend on the period you choose at the top. If your property charges nothing, one sentence says so.
Export
"To Excel" at the top downloads a workbook with the figures for the chosen period. Each sheet starts with the property, the period, the time zone and when it was made. The sheets are "Totals", "Per night", "Per channel", "Per room type" and "Per property". The last one, "Definitions", says what each column means. Amounts are numbers in euros: select a column and Excel adds it up.
Under "Other format" you choose a CSV: with semicolons for Excel in Dutch or Spanish, or with commas for other programs. It lists per night the rooms sold and available, the occupancy and the room revenue, with the totals below; amounts in cents. The comparison is in neither.
