Your profile
Your own account and passkeys, who can reach your property and what they may do, your notifications and the devices you are signed in on.
Your profile holds everything about people: your own account, who else can reach your property, and which notifications you get. Your property and the billing are under Settings.
Your account
Change your name and click "Save name". A new password is at least twelve characters; after "Change password" you are signed out on your other devices.
Passkeys
With a passkey you sign in with your face, your finger or your device PIN, without a password and without the code from your app (Sign in).
- Under "Passkeys", enter your password and click "Add a passkey".
- Give it a name, for example Ana's iPhone. If you leave the field empty, it gets the name of your device.
- Click "Create the passkey" and unlock your device. It then shows in the list.
Each passkey shows when you added it. "Rename" and "Save name" give it another name. "Remove" takes it away at once: after that it opens nothing, even if it is still on your device. Use it to clean up a passkey from a device you no longer have.
A passkey works next to your password, not instead of it, and does not count as Two-factor. The account behind the demo button cannot have passkeys: everyone signs in to it.
Who has access
Here you see everyone who can reach your property, with their role and since when.
- Invite someone: fill in an email address, choose a role and click "Invite". Until they accept, it says "Not accepted yet"; "Withdraw invitation" takes it back. The email has a link and a code; if the link opens in the browser on your colleague's phone instead of in the app, they type the code into the app (Sign in).
- Remove access with "Revoke access". The last host cannot go; there must always be one.
- Per property: if you have more than one property, you can give a different role per property. Leave everything on "Their role in this house" and their role applies everywhere.
Staff see this list, but cannot add or remove anyone.
Roles and rights
There are five roles: Host, Manager, Staff, Housekeeping and Owner-landlord. For finer control, tick or untick boxes and click "Save rights". The role then becomes a role of your own property and applies to everyone who has it. "Back to the default" resets it. Only someone who may change roles sees this part.
Anyone who may invite or manage people, or reach the property settings or the billing, has to turn on Two-factor.
Notifications
For each kind of notification you choose whether it comes as a notification on your device, by email, or both. "Quiet from" and "Quiet until" set quiet hours; within those hours notifications wait until morning. An overbooking and an arrival without a clean room always get through. A notification about a new device signing in cannot be switched off. You turn on notifications for your device on Add to your home screen.
This device
If you work on a shared tablet, set a PIN of four to eight digits with "Set PIN". The device locks itself after five minutes of silence and opens again with that PIN. "Lock now" locks it straight away.
Below that are the devices you are signed in on. If you do not recognise one, click "Sign out". "Sign out here" signs this device out.
