What your guest sees
Booking page
Your property's own booking page, for when you have no site or want to share a link.
Every property has its own booking page, with the same booking engine as on your site. It is handy if you have no website of your own, or if you want to put a link in an email, an advert or your social media profile. The address ends in /book/ followed by the name of your property, and there is one per language.
What your guest sees
- At the top the name of your property, the town and the country, and a language switch: Dutch, English, Spanish or German.
- "The rooms": for each room type the name, the description, how many guests it takes and how many rooms there are.
- "Children": if you have age groups, what a child costs in each group. This is shown before the guest starts searching.
- The booking engine itself, with the three steps from Booking engine.
- "Also worth a stay": properties nearby that you recommend, if you chose any.
- At the bottom the "Privacy statement" and the "Terms and conditions".
Search engines read the name, the address, the check-in times and the rooms from the page. Prices are left out on purpose, because they change by the day.
After paying
The guest returns to a confirmation with the reference, the dates, the party, the total and what has been paid. If the payment fails, they see "The payment did not go through" with the button "Try paying again"; we hold the room a little longer. If the payment was not completed and the room has been released, it says "This reservation has lapsed".
An example: Jasper Hoekstra opens the link of Hotel La Esperanza from a newsletter, books two nights, pays, and sees "Your room is booked" with his reference.
What you set up
- Under Your property, below the block, is the link "Open your own booking page".
- The colour and fonts come from "The look", the same as for your booking engine.
- The rooms and their descriptions come from Rooms.
- A property you recommend is added under Your property with "Recommend".
While your property is shut
The page shows "Not open yet" instead of the booking engine, with your contact address if you filled one in. The rooms stay visible, so the guest can already see what there is. See Publishing.
