Publishing

Publishing shows what is still missing before your property takes real bookings. There is no publish button. As soon as everything is in place and nothing is wrong, your property opens by itself; the mark at the top of the screen then stands open and the text says guests can book.

This has to be there

Under "This has to be there" are the five points that keep your property shut:

• rooms: at least one active room type;
• prices: every room type has a price for each of the next ninety nights;
• cancellation policy: on every room type;
• payment provider: connected, with the connection confirmed as complete;
• mandate: given for your subscription.

A finished point gets a tick. An open point is a link to the screen where you sort it out.

This is not right

Something that is there but wrong also keeps your property shut. Under "This is not right" you may see:

• a night with a price of €0.00;
• a room type with more than thirty units, almost always a typo;
• a cancellation policy that says nothing;
• a check-in time earlier than the time until which the departing guest may stay;
• in a Spanish region that requires it (Andalusia, Catalonia, the Balearic Islands, Valencia): no tourism registration number, on your property or on every room. See Your property.

Each line names the room type or the date, so you do not have to search.

This can wait

Address, extras and channels do not hold you back. They are listed under "This can wait", so you can find them once the setup bar has gone.

While your property is shut

The booking engine on your own site runs in preview: visitors see your rooms and prices but cannot book. Your booking page shows your rooms and "Not open yet", with your contact address. See Booking engine and Booking page.

"Let us do it" asks us to set up your property. Your request reaches us and someone from us will be in touch. Anyone in your team may press this button.

Good to know

• If your trial ends without a mandate, your property stays shut until the mandate is there. See Subscription.
• Real payments are not available yet. The payment provider and the mandate are a practice connection for now, which does let your property open.
