Google free booking links
Your price for free on Google Maps and Google Search, with a link to your own booking page.
With Google free booking links, your property shows on Google Maps and in Google Search with your price and a button to your own booking page. The guest then books with you, without commission: Google charges nothing for it, and neither does Noren.
How far along it is
Noren is not a Google partner yet. You can turn your property on now; it is then ready, and once Noren is a partner, your prices go along automatically. Until then nothing goes to Google. The top of the screen always says which stage the platform is in. In the demo it is a practice mode: you see exactly what Google would receive, but nothing is sent.
What you do
- Make sure your property is published. A property that cannot be booked yet would show a price nobody can book.
- On "Your property", fill in street and number, postcode, town, country and phone. Google finds your property on the map by name, address and phone. If something is missing, the card says what, with the button "Go to Property" or "Go to Publish".
- Click "Show on Google" for each property.
- Make sure your property is on Google Maps, preferably with its own business profile. Beyond that there is nothing to do at Google.
What Noren does
- When you turn it on, your rooms, prices and a year of availability go to Google in one go (once Noren is a partner). After that every change goes along by itself, and once more in full every night.
- Every morning Noren checks twenty stays: does the price on Google match your booking page? Below 95%, Google shows your price less often; your property then carries "Below 95%".
- The card shows an example of how your price appears on Google, including taxes. With "Open as a guest coming from Google" you see the booking page as a guest would open it.
- You see how many bookings and how much revenue came in through Google in the last thirty days.
Removing it from Google
With "Remove from Google", Noren closes everything at Google. Your settings stay, so you can turn it on again later.
Good to know
- Whoever may manage connections can turn this on or off.
- Google is not a channel of the channel manager. For Booking.com, Airbnb and Expedia, see Connecting channels.
