The dashboard, screen by screen
Bookings
The list of all your bookings, and the panel where you view and change one booking.
Every booking is here, whichever channel it came from. Click a row and the panel for that booking slides in from the right.
The list
- At the top are quick filters such as "Arriving today", "Unpaid" and "Unassigned", and views such as "Cancellations" and "Direct bookings".
- In the search field you type a name, email address, phone number or booking number.
- "More filters" filters by status, channel, room type, date and payment state. "Columns" chooses what you see.
- If one of your properties is in Spain, there is also the "Registration incomplete" filter and the column "Registration complete". It only counts an accepted guest filing. Elsewhere they are not there.
- The "Country" column and filter are about the country of the booking: what the guest chose in your booking engine, or what the channel or your import passed on. Not the nationality from check-in: that data is only for the filing and is not in the list, the export or the API. Bookings from before 16 October 2026 therefore usually have no country.
- "Save this view" gives your filters, columns and sorting a name, for yourself or for everyone at the property. You can attach a daily email to it.
- "To Excel" makes a workbook of what you see now, with amounts as numbers and a "Definitions" tab that explains each column. "Other format" gives a CSV, with semicolons or with commas. The file appears under "Exports"; the link works for seven days.
Several at once
Tick rows, or choose "Select everything matching this filter". Pick an action and click "What happens?": you first see how many bookings it applies to and which are skipped. What works now: "Check out", "Mark as no-show", "Assign a room" and "Export". The other actions in the list are not available yet. After running one, "Undo" reverses the last action; an export cannot be undone. Exporting here always makes a CSV with semicolons of just the ticked bookings.
A new booking
"New booking" opens a form. You choose whether it is a "Booking", an "Option" or an "Enquiry". An option holds the room until the time under "Held until" and then releases it by itself. An enquiry holds nothing yet. The rate plan decides the price and the cancellation policy. If you enter an email address, the guest can check in online.
The booking panel
The panel opens on top of any screen and has the tabs "Overview", "Bill", "Payments", "Guest", "Messages", "Documents" and "History". On the overview you can:
- choose the room, or lock it so no automatic assignment changes it;
- use "Check out", "One more night" and "Change the party"; for the last two you see the new total first;
- open "Why this price?" for the breakdown per night;
- add a note to the booking with "Note" (type it and press "Save"); it then shows under "Note" on the overview. This also works from the calendar, so on your phone too;
- use "Cancel booking", which first works out what it costs and what the guest gets back under the cancellation policy. A reason is required.
On "Bill" you add extras or a free line, each with its own VAT rate. In Spain, "Documents" lists each filing with SES.HOSPEDAJES separately, with its state and, after a rejection, the reason. On "Payments", "Register a payment" records money that came in outside the system: card terminal, cash or bank transfer. The arrow keys move to the previous or next booking from your list; Escape closes the panel. The name in the header opens the guest, see Guests.
In Italy: identification before the access code
For a property in Italy the booking overview shows the block "Identification before the access code". When you see the guest live, on arrival or by video call, and they match their document, choose how ("In person" or "By video call") and click "Record identification". Noren keeps when, how and by whom, and never an image: the call is not recorded. After that the access code may go to the guest; an access code from Noren itself does not exist yet. A property outside Italy does not see this block.
In Spain: the filing
For a property in Spain, Noren prepares a reservation filing for SES.HOSPEDAJES by itself when a booking is confirmed. Other dates or a different number of people, also through "One more night", "Change the party" or the calendar, give a change; cancelling gives a withdrawal. A different room files nothing. See Guest registration in Spain.
