The dashboard, screen by screen
Search
Find a booking by name, number or phone, and jump to any screen with Cmd-K or Ctrl-K.
There are two ways to find something. On your phone, "Search" is its own tab at the bottom. On a computer there is the command bar, which opens everything with one key: a guest, a booking, a room or a screen.
The search screen
Under "What are you looking for?" type part of a name, a booking number, an email address or a phone number, and press Enter. You get up to 25 bookings, with the guest, the number and the dates. A click opens the booking panel on top of the list; close it and your search is still there.
Search by first name or by last name, not both at once: Hoekstra finds Jasper Hoekstra, Jasper Hoekstra does not. The search screen only finds bookings. To find a room, use the command bar.
The command bar
Press Cmd-K (Mac) or Ctrl-K (Windows), or click the search field in the bar on the left. Type what you are looking for:
- Screens appear straight away as you type, even without a connection. Whatever starts with your word comes first.
- Bookings, guests and rooms are added from two letters on, after a short pause in your typing.
Choose with the arrow keys and Enter. A booking or guest opens on top of the screen you are on; a room or screen opens its own page.
A module that is switched off is listed too, with "Switch on" next to it. Choosing it switches it on and takes you there, if you may set up the property. What is on and off is explained under Everything.
Good to know
- The search term is in the page address. So you can pass a list of results on, and the back button works.
- The search screen searches the same way as the search field on Bookings: what you find here, you find there too.
