What your guest sees
Stay page
The page where your guest sees their stay and orders extras.
On the stay page your guest sees what they booked and can order extras, such as breakfast or a transfer. They get there with the button in the week-before email, or from the check-in form; no account is needed. You decide which extras are on it under Extras.
What your guest sees
- At the top "Your stay", with the dates and the reference of the booking.
- "You have added": what they already ordered, with the amount.
- "Anything else?": the extras you offer after booking, with the price and a quantity. "Add to my stay" puts them on the booking. They go on the bill for the stay; there is nothing to pay now.
- "One thing left: check in": as long as they have not checked in online, with the link "Go to the check-in form".
- "Access to your room", only for a property in Italy: that you see the guest live first, and afterwards that it happened. See Bookings.
- "Something more spacious?": the upgrade offer, only once they have checked in online and the window you chose under Rates is open. "Yes, please" gives them the bigger room; the difference goes on their bill. If the window is already open two days before arrival, that day's email points here.
- "Into your room earlier?" and "Stay a little longer?": early check-in or late check-out, if they gave a time outside your usual times when checking in online and it is possible. With the button below it (yes, from or until that time) they buy the time slot; after that it says whether it is requested, done or not possible. If the email two days ahead points to a time slot, it brings them here. See Rates.
- "WhatsApp": only if the guest chose WhatsApp themselves, with the last digits of their number. With "Stop WhatsApp messages" they get your messages by email only from then on. See WhatsApp Business.
- At the bottom, only for a property in Spain: "This is not an invoice.", with the Spanish sentence added. See Invoices.
If there is nothing to order, the page says they can ask on arrival.
An example: a week before arriving at Hotel La Esperanza, Jasper Hoekstra opens the email, goes to his stay page and adds two breakfasts. They appear on his booking straight away and go on his bill.
What you set up
An extra appears on this page when you switch on "Offer in the email before arrival" under Extras. With "Offer while booking" it appears in the booking engine; you can switch on both. See Extras.
Good to know
- The page only exists for a confirmed booking. For a request, an option or a cancelled booking the link does not work.
- If an extra can no longer be arranged in time, or has sold out, the page says so and the guest can ask on arrival.
- What the guest orders shows on the booking.
