Verifactu
What Verifactu is, what Noren does with it today, and what you arrange yourself until then.
Verifactu is the set of Spanish rules for invoicing software: every invoice gets a record that is chained to the previous one and goes to the Spanish tax office. Whoever invoices in Spain has to use software that does this. Noren cannot do that yet.
How far along it is
- Invoices under Verifactu are planned, through a certified partner. That partner is not there yet.
- Until it is ready, Noren issues no invoices for a property in Spain. A guest's bill then stays an internal bill in Noren.
- On "Integrations", "Verifactu (Spain)" shows "Not available yet", without a button: there is nothing to connect.
Outside Spain, too, Noren does not make invoices for guests today. The bulk action "Create an invoice" on Bookings is still switched off. For Portugal, Italy and France the same rule as for Spain applies on top of that: each of those countries has its own requirement for invoicing software, and without a working connection for it there is no invoice.
What you do
Make your invoices the way you do now, with your own invoicing program or through your gestor. The bill in Noren helps: every line has its own VAT rate, and in Spain that is 10% for the stay and 21% for most extras. Choose that rate correctly and you can copy the amounts straight over. See Bill and VAT.
What is already in place
In Noren the groundwork is ready: an invoice and its record are created in the same step, and sending to the tax office happens afterwards, so the guest never waits on the tax office. What is missing is the connection with the certified partner. Once that works, "Integrations" says so.
Good to know
- Whether this applies to your property follows from the country on "Your property". A property outside Spain does not see Verifactu on "Integrations", and there is no row there for Portugal, Italy or France either.
- The invoices for your Noren subscription are separate from this, in "Settings". See Invoices.
